How do you say "rebound" in Italian? Just two weeks after confirming his breakup with longtime on-and-off-again girlfriend Bar Rafaeli, Leonardo DiCaprio is getting his flirt on with Blake Lively.
DiCaprio, 36, and the 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress and were photographed grabbing ice cream and sightseeing together this weekend in the Italian city of Portofino. Days earlier, the stars spent time together at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where they were photographed sharing a friendly -- or more than friendly? -- hug on Steven Spielberg's yacht. But the flirtation may have been going on for a while now; the two were reportedly introduced by director Baz Luhrmann back in November!
While DiCaprio was making time with Lively this weekend, Rafaeli was testing the theory that looking good is the best revenge. Despite not really being, you know, in the movie industry, the supermodel was all over the red carpets in Cannes -- wearing one knockout dress after another. She also tweeted a bikini photo of herself on a yacht, and was seen partying with a beautiful crowd that included George Clooney's girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. One of Rafaeli's "friends" told Fox News that Rafaeli was doing all this for Leo's benefit.
"It is a little desperate," the fellow model sniffed.
Hmm, it may look like desperation from where Rafaeli's friends are standing -- but from where we sit, it just looks like a fantastic vacation. Only question is: While Bar was having all that fun on camera, were Blake and Leo having more fun off-camera?
